As a teacher, it is most important to me to give my students the ability to “sit down and play” in any time and any place.
By putting an emphasis on musical theory, ear training and sight reading skills, I wholeheartedly believe I am training musicians who will continue to play the piano 20, 30 and even 40 years from now.
In order to speak the language of music (read musical notation) you must first learn to understand the language itself (musical theory).
This is the goal at Studio 3 and we do it in the most fun and creative ways possible. As you navigate this site, I hope it’s obvious that we at Studio 3 have discovered “The Joy of Making Music!”
