POLICIES & PROCEDURES STUDIO 3
PRACTICE AND LESSONS Practice is necessary for proper progress as are regular lesson times. Beginning students are expected to practice 15-20 minutes per day, 4-5 days per week depending on age and ability. Advanced students are expected to practice 30-45 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week depending on age and ability. Parents are encouraged to sit in on their child’s (children’s) lesson times. If you are not able to attend weekly, attending a minimum of once per month would be most beneficial to both parent and child
ATTENDANCE AND CANCELLATIONS Lesson attendance is required each week of the month. If your instructor should need to reschedule your lesson time for any reason, a make-up lesson will be provided. If a student must reschedule or cancel for any reason, a 24 HOUR notice IS required so a make-up lesson can be provided within the current teaching/billing cycle. If less than 24 HOUR notice or cancellation is received by Studio 3, rescheduling of the missed lesson within the monthly teaching cycle will be left to the discretion of Studio Three as our schedule permits. As a studio that offers private instruction “in-home” Studio 3 reserves the right to cancel a lesson due to inclimate weather and/or dangerous road conditions. In the event of such a cancellation the option of an in-studio lesson will be offered at the South Beloit location. When possible, a rescheduled lesson will be offered pending the current weather conditions. Studio 3 will not be in session during minor holidays including: Labor Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, New Years Eve, and Memorial Day . An Alternate lesson time will be offered for these holidays and payment as usual is expected regardless of attendance.
